The Willoughyby School of the Holy Bible is exempt from national or regional accreditation as it is a small Christian school offering a certficate of completion and not college degrees.
It is important to note as well that thoological studies do (not) require by law accreditatation by any government or non-governement organization. Prior to the election of President Trump the big six regional accreditors were the only accreditors of degree granting institutions that corporations and most companies would recognize.
The following is a revised statement from the hopefully soon to be abolished U.S. Department of Education. "The U.S. Department of Education holds all accrediting agencies to the same standards, distinctions between regional and national accrediting agencies are unfounded. The Department will no longer use the terms ‘regional’ or ‘national’ to refer to an accrediting agency."
Let us hope this opens the door for strong Christian institutions that cannot afford national or regional accreditation, thereby lowering tuition costs and reducing the financial burden on students. More specifically, Christian institutions have taken the lead in exposing the high costs associated with regional accreditation, even while offering quality college degrees through the doctoral level. In the end, a school’s reputation for delivering a high-quality education will determine whether it thrives or fails.
